Evdes Privacy Policy

This policy explains which personal data the Evdes mobile app ("App") processes, why, who it is shared with, and your rights. Controller: İbrahim Furkan Yılmaz (IF-ies), Kayseri, Türkiye. Contact: info@if-ies.com
1. Data we process
Name, email address, sign-in method (Google or email)
Purpose: Creating your account and signing in
Visible to: Only you; your name is visible to your housemates
Your chosen shape and color
Purpose: Representing you in the app
Visible to: Your housemates
IBAN (optional)
Purpose: Letting housemates send you money
Visible to: Members of the same home only
Expenses, bills, payments, guest names
Purpose: Core function: who owes whom
Visible to: Members of the same home. If the home is set to "everyone sees only what involves them" (the default for new homes), only the people involved in that record
Receipt photo
Purpose: Reading the items on a receipt
Visible to: The original stays only on the phone that took it. If the home setting is on, a small grayscale copy is shared with home members
Item name dictionary
Purpose: Recognising items on the next receipt
Visible to: Members of the same home
Subscription status
Purpose: Unlocking Premium features
Visible to: Only you
Advertising ID and device info (free plan only)
Purpose: Showing ads and measuring frequency
Visible to: Google AdMob
Notification permission and scheduled reminders
Purpose: Bill due dates and period close reminders
Visible to: Only on your device
Receipt text recognition runs on your phone; receipt images are not sent to any server for this.
2. Legal basis
Performance of a contract (running the App), your consent (ad personalisation and notifications; you can withdraw it at any time) and legitimate interest (security, abuse prevention).
3. Service providers (processors)
Google Firebase (Authentication, Cloud Firestore, App Check): storing account and home data in the European region (eur3).
Google ML Kit: receipt text recognition, on device.
Google AdMob and User Messaging Platform: ads and ad consent in the free plan.
RevenueCat: verifying subscription purchases (your user ID and purchase records).
Google Play / Apple App Store: payments. We never receive your card details.
We do not sell your data or share it with anyone other than the providers above.
4. Retention
Data is kept while your account exists. When you delete your account, your name, IBAN and profile are deleted; so your housemates' records stay consistent you remain in past expenses as "Deleted member". Receipt photos on your device are removed when you uninstall the App.
5. Your rights
You can access, correct, delete, restrict or object to the processing of your data and request portability. Delete your account in the App via Profile → Delete my account, or email info@if-ies.com. We reply within 30 days.
6. Children
The App is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their data.
7. Changes
If this policy changes we will announce it in the App and on this page.
