PayDas Privacy Policy

This policy explains which personal data the PayDas mobile app ("App") processes, why, who it is shared with, and your rights. Data controller: İbrahim Furkan Yılmaz (IF-ies), Kayseri, Türkiye. Contact: info@if-ies.com
1. Data we process
Your name, chosen shape and color
Why: Representing you in the app
Who sees it: People in the same group
Names of people you add to a group
Why: Keeping track of who owes whom
Who sees it: People in the same group
IBAN (optional)
Why: So group members can send you money
Who sees it: People in the same group
Events, expenses, exchange rates, kitty and payment records
Why: The core function of the app
Who sees it: People in the same group
Account details (email or sign-in method), if you link an account
Why: Moving and protecting your data across phones
Who sees it: Only you
Subscription and Trip Pass purchases
Why: Unlocking Premium features
Who sees it: Only you; with Group Premium, group members only see a "subscriber" mark
Advertising ID and device info (free version only)
Why: Showing ads and limiting their frequency
Who sees it: Google AdMob
Notification permission and scheduled reminders
Why: Settle-up and trial reminders
Who sees it: Only on your device
When you add other people's names, you confirm you do so with their knowledge. If you use the app without linking an account, your data is stored only on your phone.
2. Legal basis
Performance of a contract (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b); KVKK Art. 5/2-c) to run the app, your consent (ad personalization and notifications; you can withdraw it at any time) and legitimate interest (security and abuse prevention).
3. Service providers (processors)
Google Firebase (Authentication, Cloud Firestore): storing and syncing group data once you link an account. Data is kept in the European region.
Google AdMob and User Messaging Platform: ads and ad consent in the free version.
RevenueCat: verifying subscription and Trip Pass purchases (your user ID and purchase record).
Google Play / Apple App Store: payments. We never receive your card details.
Your data is never sold or shared with third parties other than those above. International transfers rely on these providers' standard contractual clauses.
4. Retention
Data is kept until you delete it from the group or the app. When you delete your account, your name, IBAN and profile are deleted; to keep your group's records consistent, past expenses keep you as "Deleted person". Data stored on your phone is removed when you uninstall the app.
5. Your rights
Under GDPR and KVKK you may access, correct, delete, restrict, object to processing of, and port your data. Write to info@if-ies.com. We reply within 30 days.
6. Children
The app is not designed for children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their data.
7. Changes
If this policy changes, we will announce it in the app and on this page.
