Community Rules and Terms of Use

AGU Notes Archive is a place where AGU students help each other. The rules below keep it usable for everyone. Everyone who creates an account accepts these rules.

- Insults, profanity, humiliation, threats and hate speech are not allowed.
- Comments about instructors and students stay academic: lectures, exams, teaching and workload. Private life, appearance, beliefs and similar topics are off limits.
- Do not share personal data such as phone numbers, addresses or student IDs.
copyrightCopyright and shared content
- Share only content you have the right to share: your own notes, summaries and solutions.
- Do not share slides, books or exam papers without the instructor's permission. Such content is removed on the rights holder's notice.
- Files are not stored on the site; your OneDrive or Google Drive link is shared. You are responsible for what the link contains.
- Content that helps copying homework or exams is not allowed; AGU's academic integrity rules apply here too.
gavelResponsibility
- Comments and reviews appear anonymous to other users, but the account that wrote them is recorded.
- You are legally responsible for what you write. Under Turkish Law No. 5651, content records (account, IP address, time) are kept for two years and shared only by court or competent authority order.
- Content reported as unlawful is reviewed and removed if needed.
flagReports and moderation
- If you see content that breaks the rules, report it from its ⋮ menu.
- Content with enough reports is hidden until reviewed.
- Accounts that repeatedly break the rules may be suspended.
- Comments with profanity or insults are blocked by the system before they are published.
